Shirin Hashemi is a visual artist and environmental designer whose passion for art began in early childhood, sketching figures, shapes, and faces. This intuitive love for creativity has only deepened over the years. To an observer, her artwork bursts with vibrant colors and intricate details, demonstrating both precision and elegance. Each piece reflects her thoughts, experiences, and emotional surroundings, resonating deeply with her audience.
Shirin's career began in 2005 as an animator. After immigrating to Canada in 2011, she pursued her first post-secondary education in Art and Design Foundation at George Brown College, Toronto. She later graduated with a degree in Environmental Design from the Ontario College of Art and Design University (OCAD). Today, Shirin channels her passion into both art and architectural design.
Her artistic journey involves meditative explorations of Persian miniatures, where fine details, vivid colors, and fluid shapes express her unique perspective on life and dreams. Shirin has showcased her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries and cultural centers both in Canada and internationally.
